Arvind Jain

Arvind Jain is an Indian-American entrepreneur and engineer who is the co-founder and chief executive of Glean, an enterprise AI search and assistant company that helps organisations find, connect and reason over knowledge scattered across their internal tools and documents. Founded in 2019, Glean has become one of the most closely watched applications of large language models to enterprise data, reaching a valuation of roughly $7.2 billion by mid-2025 on the strength of investors including Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins and Wellington Management.

Before founding Glean, Jain spent more than a decade at Google, where he worked as a distinguished engineer on some of the company's most widely used infrastructure and products, including Google Docs and web search quality, giving him a first-hand view of how difficult it is even for the world's best search company to make internal enterprise knowledge easy to find. He later co-founded Rubrik, the cloud data-management and security company, serving as its vice president of engineering and helping build the technical foundation that took Rubrik public.
